Cognizant is seeking experienced candidates for a Full-Time, Permanent role in their Finance and Accounting department, specifically targeting professionals with BPO experience in the Record to Report domain.

Core Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a Senior Process Executive responsible for critical accounting and financial reporting tasks, with a strong emphasis on Fixed Assets management:

  • General Ledger (GL) & Entries: Setting up and maintaining GL accounts and booking journal entries.

  • Period Close: Performing period close reconciliations, clearing open items, booking/reversing accruals, and booking/truing up bad debt provisions.

  • Fixed Assets: Direct experience in RTR-Fixed Assets (Fixed Asset Accounting) is mandatory.

  • Cash Management & Reporting: Executing Bank Reconciliation and Cash Management activities, and preparing cash flow forecasting reports.

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience: 1 to 4 years of relevant experience is required, specifically within the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry focusing on RTR-Fixed Assets.

  • Academics: Mandatory qualifications include B.Com, M.Com, MBA/PGDM (Finance).

  • Technical Skills:

    • Good Verbal & Written Communication.

    • Knowledge of SAP Application is Preferred.

    • Any basic programming skills like Visual Basic or Macro are an additional advantage.

  • Shift & Location: This role requires working a Night Shift and is strictly Work from Office at the Hyderabad location.
